This project was developed in collaboration with Tomas Bata University to explore new applications for water hyacinth, an invasive plant that threatens freshwater resources in many African countries. Material research revealed the plant's excellent acoustic insulation properties.

The project resulted in a modular lighting system that also functions as an acoustic divider for public spaces. By combining natural materials with smart technology, the system adapts to its environment to improve acoustic comfort and create more flexible, user-friendly spaces.
